Step 1: Fill out Application $1,600 Scholarship - available to each graduate to be used for tuition and fees at all Lone Star College locations across the greater Houston area. Additionally, this scholarship can be utilized at Texas-accredited trade schools and numerous four year universities across the nation for advanced educational needs. The scholarship funds must be used within 36 months of high school graduation.

Step 2: Submit Official High School Transcripts. Students should contact the high school they graduated from to request an official transcript be sent electronically. Students who graduated from a public high school in Texas can request their high school to send official transcript through the Texas Records Exchange (TREx) system. This is the fastest way to satisfy the high school transcript requirement. Official PDF's for out-of-state GED/CHSE/HSEP score reports must be sent directly from the state department of education to LSC via email. Transcripts can be sent to Registrar@LoneStar.edu
Step 3: Contact Financial Aid Office. Students who are attending classes within the Lone Star College System may receive this scholarship as a credit to tuition and fees owed by means of contacting the college's financial aid office.
